Ari Regino

Founder and Managing Director

Alfred Ari G Regino is an Australia-educated social development professional with a Master of International Human Rights Law degree from the University of Melbourne.

His over a decade of experience in human rights and social development has led him to establish, in 2021, Tingug Solutions, a private consulting firm servicing local and international non-government organizations, government agencies and socially responsible corporations on various fields of development from a human-centered design. 

Ari has managed multi-million investments in various development projects—from agriculture to human rights. He has designed international and inter-government conferences, national-scale capacity-building materials for government personnel, and national-scale assessments of government programs and services. 

In 2016, he led the creation of the 3rd Philippine Strategic Action Plan Against Human Trafficking (2016-2022) and its Monitoring and Evaluation Framework. He has also led the development of local government plans as well as non-profit and non-government strategic plans, and monitoring and evaluation frameworks.

Ari has developed countless operations manuals, capacity building materials, advocacy and communications plans, and program designs, for government agencies, corporations, and NGOs. Most of these have been institutionalized and are currently in use. 

He was formerly Chief of the Strategic Management and Special Operations Section of the Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (IACAT), Philippine Consultant for the Australia-Asia Program to Combat Trafficking in Persons (AAPTIP), Child Protection Program Coordinator at The Asia Foundation, National Operations and Projects Manager at Visayan Forum Foundation, Inc., Program Manager at Friends of Hope Inc., and Program Director at RFM Foundation (the Corporate Social Responsibility unit of RFM Corporation).

Ari has been serving as a consultant for international organizations like The Asia Foundation and Save the Children. He has also consulted for the Embassy of The Kingdom of The Netherlands, La Trobe University, and the Philippine Department of Social Welfare and Development, among others. 

He is currently a Professor of International Law, among other disciplines, at the Ateneo de Zamboanga University.
